Parish Register Search Request Form

This form should be used only for requesting postal searches of the Society’s data transcribed from Parish Registers. The data covers most of the parishes in the county but the transcribed records are taken mainly from the 18^th and 19^th centuries. While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the records contained in the database, the Society cannot guarantee their accuracy and advises that the data should be checked against the original records which can be consulted at the Nottinghamshire Archives, County House, Castle Meadow Road, Nottingham, NG2 1AG.

The fee of £5 is charged for each separate search. The fee will be refunded if no search results are found.

BAPTISM SEARCHES (For each search state ‘SURNAME’ plus at least one other criterion*)

BURIAL SEARCHES (For each search state ‘SURNAME’ plus at least one other criterion*)

MARRIAGE SEARCHES (For each search state ‘SURNAME’ plus at least one other criterion*)

* It is regretted that searches based only on a single surname cannot be provided
