The Society has put its Baptism, Marriage, Burial and Census data onto CD and (in some cases) DVD.
The Baptism, Marriage and Burial CDs each provide for searching by surname, first name, date, place etc.
The results can be viewed in your default browser or printed out.
The Baptism, Marriage and Burial CDs use Microsoft® .NET technology. The .NET components will be installed automatically.
The Census CDs contain images of the census pages (in PDF format) and a searchable surname index (in DBF and TXT format)
Version 5 Baptism and Burial CDs are now available.
The Baptism CD now contains over 854,000 transcribed entries in the Parish Registers of Nottinghamshire. The Burial CD now contains over 526,000 transcribed entries in the Parish Registers of Nottinghamshire. The records on the Marriage Index CD have not changed. Click here to see the list of parishes and dates that have been transcribed/indexed.Version 5 designed to run under the latest up to date versions of Windows Vista 32 bit, Windows 7 32 bit and Windows XP 32 bit.
The software will run under 64 bit operating systems. It runs as a 32 bit application under the 64 bit operating system.
Updates from all previous versions of the Baptism, Marriage and Burial Viewers are available. The updates are to the new versions of the Viewers (version 5). Please return your old CDs to the shop with your update order and your name and address.
Note to the Census CDs:
The Census CDs contain the parishes in the Nottinghamshire Registration District. Because the Nottinghamshire Registration District does not coincide exactly with the Nottinghamshire County please consult this document before ordering census CDs.
